My name is Paul i have been in and around the world in one form or another my entire life. I’ve worked though out my career as a skipper on yachts doing delivers and tuition as well as a dinghy instructor and centre manager at one of the largest sailing schools in the UK and running the chandlery at the sailing club.

I started True Splice Marine as a way to keep myself busy over the winter, my life revolves around boats in one way or another and i absolute love that.

I feel i am a perfectionist down to every last detail. this can be a real challenge at points but does mean i only will let ropes out the door that are perfect.

I’m currently sailing an RS400 as crew but have grown up sailing Topper, Mirrors, 420s, Lasers. I’ve never been a big racer but love being on the water in any way i can.
